Smart Classroom Facilities
Along with the rapid advancement of technology and the growing demand for more adaptive learning methods, IPB University continues to innovate in providing modern learning facilities and media. One of these strategic initiatives is the development of Smart Classrooms, technology-enabled learning spaces designed to support face-to-face, online, and hybrid learning in a more interactive and effective manner.
In the initial phase of its development, IPB University has deployed various Smart Classroom facilities across several units, including the Common Classroom (CCR) to support the General Competency Education Program (PKU), the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKGiz), the Vocational School (SV), the Business School (SB), and the Smart Collaboration Room at the IPB Library.
These Smart Classroom facilities are designed as an integrated system that combines interactive displays, audio-visual systems, cameras, computers, and internet connectivity within a single learning environment. This integration enables lecturers and students to interact, share learning materials, and collaborate more dynamically, both inside the classroom and through online platforms.
